Assessment of soil erosion using two spatial approaches: RUSLE and SWAT Model

چکیده

In this paper, we attempted to review the erosion in Ouergha watershed by applying two spatial approaches. The has an area of around 7300 km² representing approximately 18.2% Sebou basin which it is main tributary. order develop map using SWAT model, was important prepare a large database describing proprieties, furthermore, daily hydro-climatic data. This model integrates MUSLE equation for estimation specific degradation. addition, through consolidated constructing mapping RUSLE method. method applied following approach based on use remote sensing data and GIS tools produce major factors involved erosive process their integration into RUSLE. results obtained, cartographic form, make possible target areas that require priority action larger-scale analysis, with view finding appropriate solutions fight against protect natural environment. Soil degradation 27 ton/ha/year (SWAT_MUSLE) 25 (RUSLE). Average sediment yield estimated Al Wahda dam 10.4 Million tons.
